On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome our Lakemont Leopards to the 2021-2022 school year. Our theme for this year is “Leopards on the Move”. Teachers and staff have been working diligently as they attend summer learning opportunities, plan as teams, and decorate their classrooms all in preparation for a successful school year.
School hours will remain the same this year with students being allowed on campus beginning at 8:15, if they are not in extended day. The first bell to enter the classrooms will be at 8:40 a.m. Students will be marked tardy after the second bell rings at 8:45. Our afternoon dismissal will be staggered as follows:
2:50 p.m. - Kindergarten and 1st grade begin dismissal
2:55 p.m.- Car riders, walkers and bike riders will be dismissed to the main lobby
3:00 p.m. - Bus riders are dismissed as busses arrive via television and/or intercom
3:05 p.m. - Extended Day students are dismissed
We continue to improve our Customer Service and Communication with parents, so we will continue utilizing a variety of online and phone networks as well as social media platforms. In order for this to be successful, we need all parents to give our school their email addresses. We will be communicating school news through Class DOJO, an online email service, which means we will utilize our telephone call system for emergencies only. Please make sure we have your current telephone numbers because we will need them for emergencies and severe weather (30/30 rule) communication.
