Dear Leopard Families,
As principal of Lakemont Elementary, I am so thrilled to welcome back all our Lakemont students and families for the 2025-2026 school year! The summer has been a time for rest and rejuvenation, and now we're eagerly anticipating the halls bustling with the energy and enthusiasm that only our Leopards can bring.
This year, one of our school improvement goals will be on student attendance. Every day in the classroom is a valuable opportunity for learning and growth. Consistent attendance is crucial for academic success, helping students build strong foundational skills and staying connected with their classmates and teachers. We understand that illnesses and unforeseen circumstances can arise, but we encourage everyone to make school attendance a top priority. Let's work together to make this a year of outstanding attendance for every Lakemont Leopard!
Another school improvement goal is creating a positive school culture and climate. A positive school culture is more than just a "good vibe"; it's a foundational element that profoundly impacts the success and well-being of everyone within the school community – students, staff, and even families.
